About Charlotte

Paw-Perfect is run by Charlotte Hughes, and is based in Ellistown, Leicestershire I’ve been teaching people to work with their dogs for over 6 years, in both agility and pet dog situations.

My family pack includes 6 Border Collies, 3 of which are rescues, all aged between 2 and 8 years old. I actively compete in agility and train them regularly. I’m also a Kennel Club agility competition judge.

Qualifications

I am qualified with the Diamond Academy for Instructors and have passed both my practical and theory judging exams with the Kennel Club.

Experience

I have a lot of hands on experience working with many different types of dogs, but especially with ‘working breeds’ like Border Collies as I have 5 of my own. My teaching experience ranges from high level competition agility to helping an inexperienced owner with advice on settling in their new puppy.

I enjoy my work and love seeing both the dog and handler progress, improving their bond, learning new skills and both enjoying training.
