James & Jasper

James adopted Jasper a 1 year old rescue with a number of issues. When Jasper was in the rescue centre he would spin on the spot chasing his tail and pace around endlessly in circles. Already having two other dogs James took on the challenge of Jasper and has worked over the last two years training him to do agility to give his excited brain something to do! James says “We adopted Jasper as a 1 year old dog who had quite clearly never been in a home environment before. He suffered from lack of concentration and with high amounts of energy and virtually no recall was quite a handful. Working with Charlotte through some simple clicker training, recall work and later on to agility, 18 months later and we have transformed him into a loyal and loving boy who loves his agility competitions, playing fetch in the park and spending time with his canine buddies. Working with Charlotte has been a great help in getting him focused and settled into his new life”.

Tony & Jake

Tony has 3 large dogs and needed some help to get them walking sensibly on their leads when they all go out together.  “We have 3 very excitable dogs – Sky a 4 year old Lurcher, Diesel a 5 year old Border Collie and Jake a 2 year old Kelpie. Taking all three for a walk was a nightmare, they would get tangled up after a few paces. Charlotte sorted this and they now walk side-by-side. Jake our very strong well built Kelpie continually pulled on his lead, Charlotte walked out with him and he is now relaxed on the lead”.

Shae & Betsy

I first visited Charlotte in 2012 with my loving yet bouncy spaniel cross Betsy. Betsy was 2.5 years old and I’d never really given her any obedience training. Although she wasn’t naughty, she definitely needed more focus.
Charlotte was patient, and caring and knew exactly where to start. Not only did Charlotte help train Betsy, but she gave me the tuition I needed to work with Betsy myself. With the help of a clicker Charlotte achieved one thing I never thought anyone could with Betsy – a wait!!
I’ve since moved to Australia but have kept in touch with Charlotte who has become one of my best friends. Just recently I’d asked her for advice when Betsy has started chasing birds. Charlotte has given me advice, and simple steps to follow in order to stop the behaviour.
I now have quite literally one of the easiest spaniels ever to live with – yes I’m biased!! But that is due to Charlotte’s continuing advice, knowledge and positive reinforcement .
Charlotte has helped me achieve things with Betsy I could have only of dreamt of – and for that I am so grateful. Charlotte not only has a huge amount of knowledge, but also a genuine love of dogs – a trait any handle should value when looking for a trainer.
